NUNGA was born at the intersection of heritage, movement, and modern African ambition. More than a brand, it is a cultural vision shaped by African identity, global exposure, and a deep appreciation for creativity, design, and storytelling.

Founded by Daniel Nunga, NUNGA draws inspiration from a life lived across continents and cultures. Through a two-decade career in global public health and diplomacy, Daniel

worked throughout Africa and beyond, gaining a rare perspective at the crossroads of leadership, culture, and human connection.

But Africa itself became the greatest source of inspiration.

From the indigo artisans and cultural richness of Bamako, to the modern energy of Kigali, the sophistication of Pretoria, and the design, fashion, and lifestyle culture of Cape Town, Daniel experienced a different Africa — confident, creative, elegant, and forward-looking.

Those experiences became the foundation of NUNGA.
